What are the different types of seminars?

We offer three options:
Symposium (3–4 hours)
Full-day event (10:00–18:00)
Two-day experience (usually outside Athens, with one overnight stay)

Not at all. Our seminars are designed for everyone — no prior study of Aristotle or philosophy is required.
This is Aristotelian well-being. Our seminars show you how to develop your thinking so you can find lasting ways to address your personal well-being challenges. Because to think well is to live well.

It feels like a game: you explore, discover, and reveal something altogether. Each seminar follows a specific design with a metaphorical theme that shapes how activities unfold. Everything is intentional — learning happens in a playful, dynamic, and intellectually engaging way, where Aristotelian principles emerge naturally.

Groups are small, with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10 participants, so everyone can take part fully.

Click on any of the “Book Now” or “Let’s Start” buttons on our site — both will take you straight to the booking form. You can also reach us by email at info@sophiasbest.com or by phone at +30 210 7295540. You can join us on one of our scheduled dates, or we can arrange a seminar on a date that works best for you and your friends. Since groups are small and places are limited, we recommend booking as early as possible, ideally, a few weeks in advance, and longer for the two-day seminars.

To secure your spot, a deposit of 50% of the seminar fee is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the seminar begins, and the full amount must be settled before you attend.

The process is simple — if you have contacted us about reserving your spot, we will then email you a secure payment link (via Nexi XPay, provided by AlphaBank). Don’t forget, to guarantee your participation, the full amount must be settled 7 days before the seminar begins.

If you cancel more than 15 days prior to the program, you are eligible for a full-refund (barring the exception of minor admin fees that are non-refundable).
If you cancel between 15 to 7 days prior to the program, you are only eligible for a deposit-refund.
If you cancel within 7 days prior to the program or do not attend the program, you are no longer eligible for any refund.

If you need to reschedule, let us know by email as early as you can.
If you reschedule more than 7 days prior to the program, your request can usually be accommodated (subject to availability) and any payments will transfer to the new date.
If you reschedule within 7 days prior to the program, unfortunately, it will be considered a cancellation (and subject to the cancellation policy). However, we may allow a rescheduling at our discretion.

Most take place in Athens. The two-day seminars are hosted outside Athens, in carefully chosen locations announced with each program.

Symposium (3–4 hours): Everything is included — experienced mentors, design, materials, and the neoclassical venue in central Athens — plus wine and finger food.

Full-day event (10:00–18:00): Everything is included — mentors, design, materials, and venue. With the exception of the shared main meal; its cost is divided among participants.

Two-day experience (outside Athens, with one overnight stay): Mentors, design, materials, and venues are included. Main meals are shared as a group, with the cost divided among participants. Likewise, participants are responsible for arranging accommodation and transportion – this allows for flexibility around your personal budgets and preferences.

You’re welcome to join on your own, with a partner, or with a group.

They can be held in Greek or English, depending on what participants feel most comfortable with.
Yes. We have a dedicated section for businesses, and all seminars can be tailored for organisations, schools, teams, or private groups.
We aim to select venues that are as accessible as possible. If you have specific needs, please let us know in advance so that we can make sure you feel comfortable and enjoy the experience fully.
