JOIN OUR 5 Day Seminar & LEARN TO EXERCISE Wise Thinking TO ACHIEVE Personal Balance

Our Dialectic Games, enriched with Nature’s Wisdom, show you how you can cultivate your personality traits as your unique pool of resources to become wiser at navigating daily challenges and more effective at meeting your objectives. Discover how to gain inner balance and confidence by learning to apply yourself effectively in fulfilling your true needs.

This program can be tailored to personal and business objectives.

In this truly revealing seminar, you discover that inner balance is the foundation of personal growth and wisdom. And this is necessary in both your personal and professional environment. “Mesotita” (measure), as Aristotle calls it, is the mark of a wise person who can determine how to act within given situations and contexts in a constructive manner for all involved.

Under the guidance of our Mentors, you recognise that there are situations where your strengths prove to be weaknesses and others where your weaknesses prove to be strengths. Every personality trait has an upside and a downside. Cultivating your personality traits means understanding the nature of your traits and how to utilise them across situations to meet your needs. You achieve inner balance as you practice your personality traits and develop the wisdom to act wisely in meeting your objectives while being at peace with yourself and others.

With the help of a Sophia’s Best Mentor, you gain insight on:

  • how you define your strengths and weaknesses
  • how you evaluate them
  • how you recognise the constructive elements of your strengths and weaknesses
  • how you recognise the limiting elements of your strengths and weaknesses
  • how you evaluate the situation
  • how you behave in the situation
  • how you feel about yourself in the situation
  • how you behave when wishing to meet your objectives in situations
  • how does the way you behave reveal your personality traits
  • how you recognise your traits from the result of your actions
  • how you can apply yourself “better” in meeting your needs
  • how you can align the qualities of your character with the needs of the situation
  • how you can realise measure

Find balance and recognise your needs, gain an understanding of how to fulfil them, and cultivate the wisdom to utilise your personality traits with measure as your unique pull of resources to achieve your objectives.

Anybody can be angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody’s power and is not easy.

Under the guidance of a Sophia’s Best Mentor, you delve into your behaviours to recognise your traits. Your Mentor helps you evaluate your strengths and weaknesses under a fresh perspective that allows you to appreciate your traits and learn to apply them in managing different situations and people. You realise that the richness of your character (or the characters in your team) is the foundation of growth as long as you learn to think wisely and maintain measure in the way your traits may pull and push you in different directions.

You realise that every moment is a choice to act a certain way and that every behaviour is an opportunity to exercise measure (Mesotita) and define your sense of personal balance.

Sophia’s Best Dialectic Games help you navigate through the processes involved in finding inner balance, prompting you to explore how to find measure between the nature of a given situation and the nature of your character:

We spend every day and evening together. As such, every moment is organised in detail and provided for in full, from activities to food and beverages. We’ve ensured your appetite (intellectually, emotionally and gastronomically) is well taken care of.

Nature’s Wisdom

Nature is a powerful example of measure because it illustrates how diverse and even contrasting elements coexist harmoniously, each contributing to the overall health and resilience of the natural environment. This is similar to how you learn to integrate your qualities with measure into a pool of resources that help you navigate life effectively.

Between Mani’s forestry and Messinia’s waterfalls, Local Mentors help you observe how nature freely grows within the measure of her character. As you hike into the tangled forestry of Mt. Taygetos, swim in the pools of concealed coves, or cycle along the hidden paths of a coastal town, you explore the balance between the qualities of your own nature. Witnessing the way character is actualised in behaviour. There is no universal right or wrong choice of behaviour, but there is the “best” option for you, which expresses the measure of your personal qualities. The one that addresses your real needs in response to the demands of the situation.

As you immerse yourself in arts and crafts, you explore natural materials and the way their traits take different forms under the hands of a wise artisan. You step into the enchanting world of jewellery-making, where you feel the weight and texture of different metals and stones, learning how to shape, polish, and assemble them into exquisite ornaments. While in a rustic studio nestled amidst the scenic beauty of Kardamyli, you step into the serene world of pottery-making. With patient guidance, the potter shows you how to centre the clay on the wheel, feeling its cool, pliable texture as it spins beneath your hands. And standing in a sunlit kitchen, surrounded by the comforting hum of preparation and an array of fresh ingredients and tantalising aromas, you measure ingredients with precision, each addition a deliberate choice. You become attuned to the delicate balance of flavours and the subtle nuances of each ingredient, understanding how they interact and complement one another. Through trial and error, you discover the perfect blend, creating a dish that delights the senses and nourishes the soul. Through the process, you realise that you, too, can blend finesse with assertiveness and creativity in just the right proportions to create a life you call your own.

All meals are authentically Greek and made with local, organic produce. Local beverages, including wine, will accompany our discussions and meals.

The seminar is conducted in English or Greek.

This seminar unfolds for five days at a time of your convenience.

Upon your request, it can also be extended, but we don’t suggest shortening it because understanding and practising measure requires time to become aware of your true traits and then practice new ways of utilising them.

There is no better place to experience the benefits of measure than in Southern Peloponnese. The contrasting landscapes of Messinia and Laconia provide tangible examples of measure through the balanced synthesis of their diverse natural features.

This seminar can be attended by a minimum of two people.

However, we encourage the participation of more people because learning is more constructive in the company of friends.

We look forward to discussing and deciding the accommodation and transportation arrangements for the five-day seminar together. Your preferences and feedback are essential to meet your needs and expectations for a comfortable event experience.
